Many moons ago, I think it was around 2004/2005, I was invited for the second time to Admiralty House, the home of Australia’s Governor General, for the AIDS trust of Australia’s afternoon tea. The previous year myself and Claire de Lune were the first ever drag queens to attend this function. So it was only fitting the then “Australian Idol”, Miss Courtney Act joined us also. We also got to share a snap shot with the then Lord Mayor of Sydney, Lucy Turnbull.
