I grew up loving this show, the eating the hamster episode was the talk of my whole year 4 class… for all those too young to have seen the original… here is a quick catch up. “The legendary sci-fi miniseries ‘V’ first aired on NBC on this date in 1983 — 41 years ago today! An extraterrestrial race arrives on Earth with seemingly good intentions, only to slowly reveal their true machinations the more ingrained into society they become. Not all aliens are nice and cute like Yoda, ET or ALF. When a race of reptilian-like aliens arrives on Earth in disguise as humans, they show their good intentions, but they have a more sinister plan to conquer our planet and destroy all human race on Earth.” (I borrowed that from the internet)… but for a 10 year old in 1984, it was the best show I’d ever seen. I desperately wanted Diana’s red and black suit! Oh and I feel in love with Brian the alien…. I loved him so!
